TRC Worldwide Engineering is providing precast engineering services for Bridgeway Station Stadium, a new open-air soccer venue located in Mauldin, South Carolina. The stadium is designed as a modern assembly facility supporting professional soccer matches, community events, and large-scale gatherings within the larger Bridgeway Station development.
The stadium encompasses approximately 144,939 square feet, including the pitch, stands, and concourse areas. The playing field (pitch) itself accounts for roughly 81,000 square feet, with the remaining area dedicated to spectator seating, circulation, and support functions integrated throughout the structure.
The structural system incorporates a combination of cast-in-place and precast concrete elements, including stadia seating systems, raker beams, wall panels, and concourse framing. The design prioritizes durability, constructability, and efficient load transfer while accommodating phased construction and future expansion of the facility.
TRC’s scope includes the design and coordination of the precast structural components, connection detailing, and integration with the overall structural system to support seating, circulation, and egress requirements. The system is engineered to support repetitive geometry, streamline erection sequencing, and meet the performance demands of an open-air assembly structure.
