Vaishanavi Manipal Hospital, also known as Vaishnavi Sushrutha, is a landmark healthcare project in South Bengaluru, developed through a collaboration between Vaishnavi Group and Manipal Hospitals. Strategically located on Kanakapura Main Road, this state-of-the-art tertiary care hospital spans approximately 330,000 sq.ft. and is designed to accommodate 250 beds. The facility features three basements, a ground level, and ten upper floors, with construction starting in 2022 and operations commencing in 2025.

The structural design adopts a robust conventional reinforced concrete (RC) system, integrating RC columns, shear walls, and RC beams and slabs. Ordinary moment-resisting frames combined with shear walls ensure lateral stability, critical for a high-rise healthcare environment. Heavy RCC sections are employed in key clinical zones, such as the LINAC (radiotherapy) area, complying with safety and code requirements. Advanced soil protection measures were implemented during deep excavation for the three basement levels. In total, the project utilizes around 2,300 metric tons of steel, reflecting both scale and a commitment to durability.
