As part of the larger Port Liberté residential development, a new multi-level parking structure was designed to support the growing waterfront community while integrating closely with adjacent residential buildings and site infrastructure.

TRC Worldwide Engineering provided precast engineering services for the garage, developing a coordinated precast concrete framing system tailored to the project’s mixed-use residential context. The precast layout was engineered to align with the architectural and structural requirements of the surrounding buildings while maintaining efficient parking geometry and clear circulation throughout the structure.

Special coordination was required at the garage interface with the residential construction, including fire-rated precast wall assemblies where the garage abuts occupied space and alignment of the precast structure with adjacent floor systems and elevator cores. The design also incorporated integrated exhaust openings and vertical circulation elements within the precast system to support code compliance and long-term performance.
