TRC provided structural engineering services for the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, an approximately 870,000-square-foot, 196-foot-tall hospitality development featuring an eight-story hotel tower constructed above a nine-level parking podium.

The vertically integrated program begins with an active ground floor containing the main lobby, commercial kitchen, receiving and storage areas, restaurants, and the Margaritaville Bar & Restaurant. The second level houses the spa, while parking occupies Levels 3 through 9. The 10th floor includes a banquet kitchen, grand ballroom, meeting and board rooms, salons, hotel administration, and housekeeping. The 11th floor features a recreation deck and guest rooms, with additional hotel floors extending from Levels 12 through 17.

The structural system is founded on auger-cast piles with pile caps supporting cast-in-place concrete columns. Post-tensioned transfer beams at Levels 2 and 11 manage major load transitions between the podium and tower. The parking structure utilizes cast-in-place post-tensioned slabs, while the 11th-floor deck incorporates post-tensioned construction with transfer framing.

Guestroom levels from the 12th floor to the roof were constructed using tunnel form construction with cast-in-place reinforced walls and slabs, providing repetitive efficiency and durability. Lateral resistance is provided by cast-in-place concrete shear walls at the elevator and stair cores.
