TRC provided precast engineering services for the Lindsey Nelson Stadium renovation at the University of Tennessee, a major upgrade designed to elevate the fan experience and expand premium amenities within the existing baseball venue.
The project included enhancements to the upper bowl, premium seating areas, and concourse-level concessions, supporting the stadium’s transformation into a modern SEC-caliber facility. Working within an active campus and constrained stadium footprint, the precast scope required careful coordination with the structural and architectural teams to integrate new seating geometry and vertical circulation elements.
TRC’s precast design supported the complex sightline requirements and bowl reconfiguration necessary to increase capacity and improve proximity to the field. The system was engineered to provide durability, constructability, and schedule efficiency while aligning with the broader phased renovation strategy.
The completed improvements position Lindsey Nelson Stadium as a premier collegiate baseball venue while maintaining the operational continuity required for a high-profile athletics program.
